My clients tend to share a combination of the following characteristics: a complex relationship with one or more member of their family; struggles with symptoms of ADHD and/or OCD; work-life balance; grappling with either their current or past relationship with a higher power; setting and maintaining boundaries; self-esteem concerns, anxiety, depression; and distress about a furry family member.

I specialize in assisting individuals facing a myriad of challenges that affect their daily lives, spanning from personal relationships and household dynamics to academic and professional settings. Whether you’re on the verge of a significant life change or dealing with smaller, yet significant transitions, you’re not alone. It’s typical to feel uncertain about the path ahead, especially when it seems that others have everything neatly sorted while you’re still searching for directions and answers.

Many individuals experience feelings of being left behind, yearning for stability amidst constant change, and wrestling with the unsettling realization that their once clear life path has been disrupted by life changes, unexpected events, or setbacks. The once seamless flow of daily life now appears challenging and difficult to get under control, despite efforts to do so. In such moments, having a fresh perspective and support can be invaluable in navigating forward.

I collaborate with clients working toward their self-awareness and self-acceptance. I offer a nurturing space while working together so clients are able to realize their aspirations, formulate practical strategies, and actively work towards turning their goals into tangible realities.

Drawing from my diverse background as a former school counselor in public education and my current experience in higher education, I offer a unique insight into the inherent stressors students encounter. My experience has afforded me a nuanced understanding of toxic dynamics in both work and home environments. I understand the profound impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, which made everyday issues no longer manageable. I am an ally to the LGBTQIA+ community. Currently, I provide counseling services both in person and virtually in Georgia, and virtually for clients in South Carolina.
